Since Leah just shared her favorite granola bar recipe, I thought I would share mine too! You can be the judge on which you like better! (To be fair, I haven't tried Leah's recipe, but it does sound good!)
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup craisins (or currants, or any dried fruit cut up)
1/4 cup ground flax
1/2 tsp each salt & cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts (whatever kind you want!)
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
2 tsp vanilla
Mix the first part (dry ingredients) in a big bowl. Mix up the wet ingredients and add to the dry. Press into a foil lined, greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350* for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool completely and then cut up into bars. You can freeze these wrapped up individually if you want! (But they are so good you'll just eat them all up right quick, so don't bother!)

My friend Sharon (she who inspired the Favorite Party!) introduced me to Italian Soda's today, and it was THE BEST EVER!
(I think I had tried one once ages ago, which obviously didn't make much of an impression on me.)
On the way home from Sharon's, I even stopped to get ingredients so I could make them for myself!
Whipped Cream (optional!)
So easy and delicious! Just pour in a bit of syrup in the flavour of your choice (or mix a couple), throw in some ice and top with club soda. Whipped cream on top!

Just some shots from around the house...
Finally made & hung burlap dining room curtains!
(Uh, yet to be hemmed!)
I put some plants in that garden bed. It doesn't look this sparse in real life though!

Last Friday I took a quick spin through MCC Furniture and found this little coffee table that wanted to come home with me!
A couple of coats of paint later, I had myself a refreshed table, perfect for the screen porch!
("Mirage Lake" by Behr if anyone is wondering!)
Love it! Looks like summer!
